Livinguard technology work?
1. Capturing
Carrier materials, such as textiles treated with Livinguard, have about 70 trillion charges per square centimeter. They therefore act like a magnet on viruses and bacteria. The Livinguard treatment thus creates a positive “magnet” for the negatively charged viruses and bacteria. On contact, these microorganisms attach themselves to the tissue. This step is called capture or “adsorption”.
2. Destroying
The positively charged “magnet” is stronger than the negative charge of the microorganisms, so that they give way and burst. The cell walls of bacteria and yeast fungi or the protein capsules or envelopes of viruses are destroyed and their now harmless contents escape and decompose.
3. Repeating
When the microorganisms are destroyed, they lose their charge. They fall off the textile or can be washed off. As soon as they leave their place on the material, they also release the charges to which they previously adhered. The material keeps its revolutionary effect and continues to kill with the same width (variety of germs), effectiveness (number of germs), speed and durability.
A clear decision
Recent tests at the University of Arizona have demonstrated a > 99% inactivation rate of HCoV-229E on the Livinguard treated textiles. These tests are representative of performance against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 infection.
Patented Swiss technology
Designed and constructed in Switzerland. Granted patents in Bangladesh, China, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea and Taiwan. Patent applications are pending in many other jurisdictions, including the United States and the European Patent Office.
Successfully tested
The antiviral Livinguard technology has been successfully tested according to U.S. EPA standards for its “self-disinfecting” properties. Only textiles treated by Livinguard can continuously inactivate microbes.
